The brand was created in 2013 by György Szeles. As a professional athlete, he knows exactly what it takes to do your best in and outside of the water - not only regarding physical condition, but your appearance as well. Wearing reliable, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing sportswear, will greatly boost your confidence to perform in any situation.
’’I had 25 fantastic years playing the beautiful sport of water polo. I spent most of my life in the pool and by the water, therefore I was wearing sports clothing for most of my days. The idea for SeleS came to me during my career, having had the luck of playing in many different countires and leagues, with their own suppliers of equipment where I have learned the ins and outs of what makes an athlete feel appreciated, confident and most importantly comfortable. There were many instances, while we had quality equipment, it still felt that something was missing. The fit would be just not right, the colors would fade or my equipment wouldn't get me through even a single workout. Torn and worn-out swimming trunk, broken waterpolo caps, streched shirts and ripped bags... often our gear had to be replaced more than once during a single season.
For these reasons I have made it my mission to fill the missing pieces and create sportswear, that is durable, fits all without compromise, while not sacrificing the comfort and the quality of the aesthetics of our products.
Designing sportswear has always been a passion of mine, therefore I strive to create products that are eco-friendly, comfortable, fashionable and durable.”
